Best of the Worst

I've seen my fair share of bad movies in my lifetime. Sometimes they are laugh-out-loud bad, and sometimes they are throw-up bad. Its not that I choose to watch bad movies, it just happens sometimes. Anyway, here are my bottom 5 movies:

5 - Batman & Robin - George Clooney as the worst Batman ever. Chris O'Donnell as his possible gay lover. Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze. This was just a horrible, horrible movie. Do yourself a favor and never, ever watch this movie. The director even apologized to fans for the movie, so you know its bad.

4 - Stealth - This is possibly the only movie I have ever turned off halfway through and never finished. I can generally sit through a bad movie, but on this occasion it was too much for me to handle. Horrible acting mixed with a horrible plot did me in.

3 - Rocky V - Easily the worst of all the Rocky movies. Its like they just decided to make another Rocky movie to make some money, but they decided to not try writing a decent storyline or have decent acting.

2 - Waterworld - At the time this movie was made it cost $175 million, which with inflation would equal roughly $236 million today (to compare, Avatar cost around $280 million to make). Waterworld grossed $88 million here in the U.S. If my math is correct, $88,000,000 - $175,000,000 = -$87,000,000. Yes, that is correct, it lost $87 million. It was supposed to be great special effects, and for the time period I guess those weren't bad. But with all the money spent, couldn't somebody pay to have a decent plot written? If you haven't seen this movie you should at least give it a shot, because as bad as it is I actually kind of like it.

1 - Anything by Nicolas Cage - Ghost Rider. Knowing. Next. Face/Off. National Treasure 2. Ghost Rider 2 (Its in the works so I'm already putting it on this list. Don't believe there could be a sequel to a movie this bad? Look it up). Do I need to keep naming them off? He very rarely makes an even decent movie. Its almost like he is making movies just because he needs the money. Oh wait, that is exactly the case.
